Emma is quick to act as she calls the killer and arranges a meeting, but what will happen when she comes face-to-face with the culprit and demands an explanation?

The 10 Points Of Christmas

EastEnders Christmas 2014: Carters at Christmas. Linda Carter (KELLIE BRIGHT), Mick Carter (DANNY DYER) - (C) BBC

1. The festive period is usually a quiet one in Walford (laughs!) but this year, the drama will knock you off your feet as the Carter's are destroyed by Dean’s horrific actions against Linda. Mick is about to discover the horrible truth about what happened to his wife on that night and you will see a terrifying side to him that will leave you stunned. And Dean mate, it was nice knowing you!

2. If you thought that was a big storyline, you wait until New years. I’m sworn to secrecy on details, but let’s just say, cancel any plans for a street party and unhook the phone from all those annoying callers who can’t stay up til midnight.

3. It’s not the only pain in store for Linda as she is forced to say goodbye to son Johnny. But will they part on good terms?

7406113-low_res-

4. Emma aims all her attention very firmly on Lauren as Lucy’s murder mystery reaches the boil again. A laptop, video and secret package prompt more twists but is Lauren really to blame? Or has someone set out to frame her?

5. Jane finds herself back in the Bed of Beale but, while it is initially a regrettable incident, will a surprise twist lead it to become a more permanent arrangement?

6. Cindy finds a particularly sinister present under the Christmas tree that sends shockwaves through the household. But who has left it there and why?

7308482-high_res-

7. Dot gets an even worse sight than that when she walks in on Nick and Mrs Doyle at it on the sofa. But while Yvonne wants to keep her (slim) chance of happiness with her ex, Ronnie is plotting to get rid of Nick for good…

8. Shabnam could be in for a Kushty romantic treat this festive season as Kush sets his sights on a Christmas kiss. Can he get her under the mistletoe?

9. Stan comes face to face with a figure from his past as Sylvie Carter rocks up in Walford. But how will he react to her arrival?

10. Another departure could leave the path open to a long awaited romance for Tamwar and Nancy. Will he finally make his move?

Tuesday: Dean plans his revenge

Monday, 22 December 2014

Linda decides to talk to Stacey about Dean. Stacey urges her to tell Mick the truth. Even though Linda wants to be honest with Mick, she wonders what it would do to their relationship. There is also an added distraction when Johnny makes an announcement that shocks his family. Linda is upset by what Johnny has to say, but Nancy is surprised when she supports his decision. After saying an emotional farewell to her youngest son, Linda eventually accepts that Mick does need to know the truth, so she informs Stacey that she is going to tell him.

At the same time, Dean is confused after being dumped by Stacey as he doesn't know what the reason is, but all becomes clear when he finds out that she has grown close to Linda. Wanting to regain control, Dean storms over to The Vic and orders Linda to stop 'lying' about him. Dean wants Linda to convince Stacey to give him another chance, but they are interrupted by Lee who wants to know what's going on. Dean then drops a bombshell in front of Lee…

Following Johnny's departure, Linda makes a huge decision of her own as she vows to tell her partner Mick the truth about how she was raped by Dean Wicks.

Speaking of the exit, Kellie Bright - who plays Linda - recently commented: "Because of what has happened with Linda and where she is at in her own story, there is a little bit of her that is relieved because if he is not around she can protect him from the reality of certain things."

On saying goodbye to her on-screen son Sam Strike, she added: "I was absolutely devastated and I did say, 'You can't go, I am your mum and I'm saying no!' I understand why he wanted to go and I completely support him and love him to pieces. He will very much still be in my life, I don't doubt that. He was at my wedding, for goodness sake.

"I was sad to see him go. I think he is a wonderful actor and I have loved some of my stuff I've had to do with him over the year."

Another Shock For Mick Carter

Mick Carter will soon be left in shock after Grandad Stan asks him to assist his suicide after he received a terminal diagnosis.

On The Graham Norton Show, Danny Dyer let slip the new storyline which will see Stan asking Mick to "smother him" after revealing his terminal illness.

Danny said: "I'm juggling about eight storylines at the moment. My old man is on his way out. My mother's got Alzheimer's - she's not my mother, my sister's actually my mum.

"My missus has been raped by who turns out to be my brother, so I don't know if it's my kid. My dad dying - he's not my dad, he's actually my grandad - he wants me to smother him."

Danny also spoke about the dramatic Christmas Day episode, which is when Mick finds out Linda was raped and Shirley is his mother.

He said: "It's the Christmas from hell, but it's a beautiful thing at the same time. It's all nice - mince pies, cranberry sauce, bit of goose and all that game - 9 o'clock it gets so dark. We have an hour of the Carter family just unfolding and me having a complete breakdown. I've loved it though. As an actor, you want to do that stuff."

Danny also explained why he thinks EastEnders is depressing at Christmas.

"I think you need a little smack round the face on Christmas Day," he said. "Everyone's opening presents and acting jolly - all of that forced fun - and then you just need a little spank!"
