Tuesday, 30 June 2015

Stacey and Jean are reunited next week when Jean and Ollie arrive and announce they are getting married..

The whole drama about the secret key that Stacey keeps close to her chest will be revisited next week.

A big week for Stacey (Lacey Turner) kicks off following Jean's unexpected arrival, but their reconciliation soon turns sour when Jean spots the key around Stacey's neck and flies into a frenzy.

The day of the wedding arrives and Martin becomes concerned over Stacey's erratic behaviour. He urges her to leave the key at home, fearing she will cause more drama at the ceremony.

Stacey, of course, ignores Martin's suggestion and as soon as she arrives at Jean's house, she starts to search for what it could open.

Stacey gets no closer to uncovering the truth and promises her mum that she will ask no more questions. The pair make amends.

As they go to leave, Jean mentions something in relation to Brian but before Stacey can ask any questions, they are interrupted by Shirley and leave for the ceremony.

After the ceremony finishes, Martin spots Stacey with the key and panics about her intentions and when Stacey suggests she returns to the house first to prepare the food, Martin soon realises what she's up to.

While Stacey frantically searches for what the key may open, Martin snaps at her for not opening up to him and goes to leave.

However, Stacey finally confides in Martin why the key is so important but her mission is soon interrupted when Jean returns home and realises what her daughter has been trying to do.

Furious with Stacey, another huge argument between the pair ensues, but will Stacey learn the truth?

NEWS: James Bye was rushed to A&E after severing artery

James Bye who plays Martin Fowler explained how he severed his artery after offering to cut the stone from an avocado.

Avocados are meant to be a healthy food but not in this case, James can no longer look at them because he was left needing urgent medical treatment.

Speaking to The Sun, James revealed that he slipped while trying to cut the stone out of an avocado and slashed his arm.

He rushed to A&E, where doctors discovered that he had damaged an artery and ligaments in his hand.

They treated his wounds and popped him in a cast up to his elbow - meaning show bosses have to come up
with an accident for Martin to explain away the bandages.

He explained to SoapSquawk: “I was trying to get a pip out of an avocado and I put the knife through my hand.

“It went through an artery and the ligament, which makes me feel sick thinking about it.

“I’m ok though, but I’ll be in a cast for a while so they are writing it into the show.”

But it’s not just the cast that EastEnders bosses have to write in; they also have to tell the props department to remove ALL avocados from Martin Fowler’s fruit and veg stall in Albert Square.

Apparently the incident has left him unable to even look at them.

He told The Sun: “I can’t look at avocados now.

“I’ve asked for them to be removed from my stall [in the show].”

That doesn't sound too good, does it? We wish him a speedy recovery!

EastEnders is about to get 'explosive'

You didn't think Kathy would be back to play happy families did you? Of course not! Kathy's husband Gavin, played by Paul Nicholas, will be the villain of  all villains, “an EastEnders villain like no other”.

DTC has hinted at what will be one of the biggest narratives, set to rock Albert Square to it's very core.

Speaking about Kathy’s third husband Gavin Sullivan (played by Paul Nicholas), Dominic said: “If everything works out, and I hope it will, Gavin is going to be an EastEnders villain like no other.
“He’s going to be modern, complex, and have a little foot in the past and a foot in the present.”

No return date has yet been given, it is tipped to be in the summer.

Jean freaks out at Stacey over THAT key!

So Jean is back next week and when things seem to be going well, Jean spots the key around Stacey's neck.
Jean was in such a great mood, telling Stacey that she is marrying Ollie but when she sees the key displayed proudly around Stacey's neck on a chain, things turn a little dark.

Stacey was given the key on her return to Walford, she has no idea as to what it unlocks.

Clearly from Jeans reaction, she knows something about the key, if it was anything good, it is unlikely Jean would want to rip it from around Stacey's neck.

After Jean freaks out, Stacey is left wondering and becomes determined to find out what the key is for.

“We keep going on about the key but we will find out a lot more about it,” promises Enders boss Dominic Treadwell-Collins.

Hopefully sooner rather than later…

EastEnders continues on BBC1, Monday, June 29, 8.00pm

Old faces to return as BIG arrest is made for Lucy Beale Murder - THIS SUMMER!

Just when you thought it was all over, just like we said months ago, the story is not ever. After a year of waiting, we finally found out it was little Bobby Beale who killed his big sister.

Exec producer Dominic has revealed this week that there is a huge twist ahead this summer. One that will shock the viewers.

A witness will come forward and speak to the police about what they know. The police arrive in Albert Square to make an arrest.

Speaking about the twists and turns, the Radio Times reported Dominic saying: "We'd been resting the story a little bit to let everyone get a breather.

"But it's going to kick up a notch over summer with a big arrest over summer that's going to take us through into September. And a few old faces are returning for that."
We can't wait!

As fans wait to see the shocking twists and turns play out on screen, a familiar face will be making a comeback to the Square.

What's happening in EastEnders next week? Find out here.

The pair first hit it off at The Albert and next week Buster and Carol will grow even closer. Carol is really worried about her appointment at the hospital and this is exactly what she needs to take her mind off of things.

On Tuesday they both talk about growing up in Walford as teenagers, Buster suggests they continue the talk back at the B&B with a bottle of wine.

Later, a drunk Carol staggers home to a disgusted Sonia, Carol reveals she slept with Buster.

The cutest couple in Walford for a long time, Tamwar and Nancy prove how rubbish they are as neither one will be honest about how they feel about eachother.

When Nancy storms off after a row, it's actually Shabnam who dishes out the advice to her little brother about relationships. Que a funny Tamwar quote.

Tamwar takes his sisters advice and goes to the Vic to speak to Nancy but finds her unconscious on the floor having another seizure.

When Nancy comes around, the pair talk about their relationship and the L word is used! The couple end up having . . . well . . . let's say they have a special cuddle.

Right, come off it Kush! Time to make your mind up. The man with epic eyebrows is still torn between his fiance or the 'bit on the side' that is Stacey.

I don't think I can stand anymore pained expressions, when he speaks to Stace, he finds out she's got a little secret of her own. DUFF DUFF

Lee Carter to battle depression

A long running sotryline will see show Lee Carter battle depression. EastEnders have teamed up with Mind, a mental health charity and the story will unfold next month.

Lee will struggle to cope with everyday life, and sister Nancy will be the first person to nice the changes happening.

Lee opens up to Nancy but he is adamant he doesn't want parents Mick and Linda to find out, especially after the troubles they have had this past year.

Danny-Boy Hatchard, who plays Lee, commented: "This is not a subject that only a handful of people can relate to. It's something that at some point most people in their lives will experience on different levels."

EastEnders has previously been praised for its portrayal of other mental health storylines for characters including Jean Slater and Stacey Branning.

A spokesperson for Mind added: "We have a long history of working with EastEnders and are grateful that they are keen once again to tackle mental health in front of such a large audience.

"Mental health problems are very common, affecting around one in four people, and depression is one of the most common conditions. For some viewers, a dramatic portrayal is the first time they may be exposed to mental health problems and when done well soaps can be a tremendous tool in raising awareness, challenging attitudes and helping to dispel myths.

"In research we carried out last year, we even discovered that 25% of respondents had sought professional help for their own mental health after seeing a soap character with similar issues."

EastEnders Big Summer Stories!

Saturday, 27 June 2015

Dominic Treadwell-Collins has been teasing about what's in store in EastEnders this summer. He said there are some huge stories coming and that Vincent, Kim, Paul, Ben, Carol and Stacey are among those who have dramatic times ahead as the show heads towards an explosive autumn.

Speaking at an EastEnders press event, Treadwell-Collins said: "We haven't stopped working since live week and as like last year, we are not shutting shop for summer.

"Sometimes in the past, EastEnders has done stories about camping in the summer and we are not [going down that route]. We are going to propel all the way through, building to a very, very explosive September.

"It is not quiet over the next couple of months. We have the Kush, Shabnam, Martin and Stacey love square and some very big developments and twists in that story.

"Jean Slater comes back to get married and we find out more about Stacey's key. We keep going on about it but we find out a lot more. There is also Carol's departure building - this isn't for a while but we are already building that."

He said: "We learn a lot more about Vincent and Kim and their relationship and the mother-in-law, who sits there all smiley and lovely but she so is not.

"There will be a lot more about Claudette, Claudette's relationship with Kim and Kim's relationship with Vincent which will take us all the way through the summer and straight into September when it keeps getting bigger and bigger and bigger. There are some surprises in that story as well.

"Claudette is also tied into Les and Pam. That is also going to explode massively and Les and Claudette's supposed affair is blown up - that is all I am going to say. Is it an affair?

"That also keys into Paul and Ben's big summer of gay romance which we had a lot of fun with, but it has a seriousness underneath it as well. It's a real love story and it keys Ben up as we dig into what makes Ben tick.

"He has been quite messed up by the death of his mother, which is obviously gearing up to the return of the undead Kathy."

Ben jumps to Lola's defence

Ben and Paul will have a summer of romance

More stories this summer will include a huge twist in the Lucy Beale murder storyline, Lola's departure and a sad story for Lee Carter.

Treadwell-Collins added: "We have also got Jay and Lola - there is a big story for them which leads to Lola's departure - and Nancy and Tamwar - their relationship is going to up a gear quite massively and there are more twists and turns in that. Also, Lee and Whitney, which is going to take quite a serious turn as well.

"Another big story is the Lucy Beale one. We rested the story a little bit and gave it a little breather, but that kicks up a notch over the summer with a big arrest that is going to take us through to September and a few old faces will return for that as well."

First Shabnam, now this person is pregnant too!

Well, it is soapland after all! That's right, you guessed it, Stacey will fall pregnant soon in EastEnders.

Stacey has had romantic encounters with both Martin and Kush, who she has strong feelings for. Even though Stacey will end things with Martin, we will see her try and give it another go.

Things will become even more confusing when Stacey will have no idea as to who the father of her unborn child is.

Last night's episode saw Kush's fiancee Shabnam Masood learn that she was expecting a baby after she was admitted to hospital following an attack.

EastEnders will air these scenes next month.

Kush goes groveling to Nancy tonight when he begs her to keep quiet as to what she saw between him and Stacey.

When Nancy tells Stacey she is going to tell Shabnam about the pair, Kush rushes to Nancy to ask her to keep quiet.

He tells Nancy that it was all Stacey's fault and if she tells Shabnam, she will be causing more trouble.

Although Nancy is still sceptical, she is given food for thought when Kush opens up over his traumatic past with the loss of his wife. Will Nancy agree to stay out of Kush's business?

From July 6th, Coronation Street, Emmerdale and EastEnders will all see schedule changes.

Corrie will show six episodes that week, instead of the normal five episodes. The schedule means Emmerdale will show a one hour episode on July 9th.

BBC One schedulers have responded by shifting EastEnders to 8.30pm on July 9, dodging a clash with Emmerdale.

All three soaps air in their usual slots for the rest of the week.

Scenes that air Friday night (June 26th) will cause Shabnam and Masood to fall out again after a row. Shabnam becomes viciously targeted by a group of girls on Friday after she confronts them over the vandalism of the community centre.

Shabnam is left battered and bruised and the argument that follows is caused by Masood who tries to convince her to go to the police.

Shabnam becomes infuriated with her father when he once again, goes behind his daughters back and calls the police.

In the heat of the argument, Shabnam runs out the shop and into the arms of fiance Kush and best friend Stacey.

When she next speaks to Masood, Shabnam eventually concedes that she should make an official statement - but can father and daughter get back on good terms again?

EastEnders airs these scenes on Monday, June 29 at 8pm and Tuesday, June 30 at 7.30pm on BBC One.

Stacey's Date Disaster (PICTURES)

Martin Fowler is left wondering if he actually wants to be with Stacey after he sees another side to her next week.

After meeting Kush at the park, the man she truly wants to be with, Stacey crushes all of Martin's hopes by telling him she doesn't want a relationship with him.

Shortly after, Stacey apologises to Martin and agrees to give it another go.

During the week, Martin surprises Stacey and she pretends to be happy that the pair are going for a meal at Ian's restaurant.

With Martin making all the effort, Stacey becomes more and more uncomfortable and makes her feelings clear. Stacey argues with Martin for no reason and storms out the restaurant.

Martin is baffled but can't help feeling slightly relieved that she has gone. Has Stacey put him off for good?

EastEnders airs these scenes on Thursday, July 2 at 7.30pm and Friday, July 3 at 8pm on BBC One.

Danny Dyer's Daughter Shares Father's Day Message

Danni Dyer has shared a message online for her father Danny. Dani shared pictures of both including a picture of them cuddling with the message: "Happy Father's Day to my puppy @MrDDyer you deserve an amazing day and to realise how special you are to me xxxxx."

These pictures by Danny's daughter come hours after the media hounded Danny, yet again, for being photographed with his arm draped over another woman. The woman in the photo is called Karen and is a bodyguard.

A friend of Karen's told The Sun on Sunday: "She can be wild and she and Danny have known each other for years.
"If Danny was my fiance I wouldn't want him kissing any other girl on the lips. And they do it a lot."
Many of the pictures appear on Karen's Facebook page, along with snaps of her and other "celebrities." The pictures of Karen and Danny are dated between March 2012 and May 2014.
Karen, who describes herself as a bodyguard on Facebook, changed her profile picture multiple times to a snap of her and Danny and gushes over the star.
Karen refused to comment but her daughter denied she was in a relationship with the star.
