Friday, 31 March 2017

Ned Porteous, who played Mark Fowler Jnr, has said he is in talks about a return to the show, and there's a chance Grant will return with him!

Speaking to The Sun, the hunky actor said: “I might be coming back to Eastenders and Ross wants to return. With Danny Dyer on a break the show needs a bad boy.”

Twitter: @NedPorteous

Ned appeared in EastEnders last year when his character found out he was the son of Grant Mitchell. He and on sister Courtney, soon became favourites of  EastEnders viewers who pleaded with soap bosses to get them back.

Fans want to see Mark Jnr, Courtney and Grant return as they know they will be great viewing, especially with what Michelle has been up to lately.

What do you think, do we need the father and son to return to Walford, and what about Vicky and Courtney?

We are told that Preston will rush over to help his lover, Michelle. Could something go disastrously wrong, meaning the end of the young American?

We see Kathy and Kush inside the shop just before Michelle crashed, is there a chance that either of these two could be killed of?

With Martin disowning his sister, and Denise rejecting Kush for the 2,000th time, will someone be left with one hell of a regret?

Also tonight, an incident will change one family's life forever. With this weeks episodes focusing on Sylvie going into care, we can only imagine what the story writers have planned for her, let's hope it's a kind send off.

Redwater Will Air On BBC One Soon!

Monday, 27 March 2017

BBC

It feels like years since Kat and Alfie left Walford, she found out she was a mother of twins, one of which was given up for adoption.

The truth came out when the nun who was present at the birth, arrived in Walford and told her everything. As the pair set off, we were promised a six part spin-off to follow their journey.

The spin-off will follow on with Kat and Alfie arriving in Ireland, but the story will take a dark turn: “I can’t tell you how exciting it is. It’s a real, dark story,” Shane Richie said on This Morning

“When I was reading the script, I kept thinking half-way through that Kat and Alfie have to get out of this village but they don’t. It’s a stand alone drama and nothing to do with EastEnders except for that it’s Kat and Alfie. A whole new universe has been created.”

We have been told that Redwater will finally air on BBC One in May. With the actors having no plans in returning to EastEnders, could that be a clue as to how the story comes to an end? - We're sure the BBC will start airing a trailer for the mini series soon.

EastEnders airs weeknights on BBC One.

Saturday, 25 March 2017

Walford East

We have one of those weeks fast approaching, one where anything is a possibility. We get to see the secret affair of Michelle and Preston finally exposed, in true EastEnders fashion of course!

We have heard that the revelation will lead to a disaster when Michelle loses control, while another family will be left shocked when an unexpected incident changes them for good.

Continues ↓

BBC
Michelle has a lot to worry about next week, especially after slapping her best friends son, Dennis. She also has to face the fact that she may have lost Preston for good, he and Bex make their relationship official.

With Michelle and Preston being outed, chaos ensues and a disaster will rock one family's world. Recent events leave Tina in an emotional state, leaning on Whitney for support.

By the end of the week, residents are trying to make sense of what has just happened, some families will not be able to forget the past and some of the residents will have to pull together if they're going to make it through this one.

There is of course some information being kept top secret. What would you like to see happen?

Goodbye Mick - Danny Dyer Leaves EastEnders

Friday, 24 March 2017

Men and women could be heard weeping up and down the country last night when EastEnders aired Danny Dyer's exit from the soap.

Albeit a little rushed, scenes showed a frantic Mick rushing around to get a flight after hearing that daughter Nancy, had been hit by a car in Bulgaria.

The worst part is, we don't even have Linda to tide us over. We have heard from The Sun that Danny Dyer will return to filming on Monday 27th March, filming six to eight weeks in advance, this could mean we might not get our Carter fix until the end of May!

EastEnders: No More Messing Around?

The whole Kush and Denise thing seemed to die off as soon as she found out she was pregnant, but it looks like things are starting to heat up between the pair soon.

Kush shocks Denise when he confesses that he wants a proper relationship with her, not one that's hidden behind closed doors.

After feeling a little deflated when no one turns up to her community meeting, Denise and Kush decide to make use of the time they have left in the community hall, that is until Carmel walks in nearly catching them in the act.

With the shock of nearly being caught, Denise tells Kush that she wants to remain friends. He suggests they go to The Albert to talk things over.

Kush lays everything out on the table, telling Denise that she must decide what she actually wants for her future, and will it be one that involves him?

Tonight's episode will see Comedian Russell Kane try to explain King Arthur. The king is played by ex-EastEnders actor Ben Hardy.

Ben hardy left EastEnders in 2015 and said recently that he has no plans in returning at the moment: "Never say never, but not in the imminent future,"

"It does irritate me that [Peter has] a baby," he explained. "It bugs me that the baby is left there, not being fathered."

WayBack: When we all hated Grant Mitchell

This weeks WayBack: Grant & Tiffany Mitchell

It's very strange to think that at some point, Grant Mitchell really was the most hated character on British television. Way back in 1998, the one couple we really fell in love with was Grant and Tiffany Mitchell, and in his own unique way, you could tell he truly loved her . . . . that is if you forget the time he slept with her mother!

When she confronted him about the cheating, she decided enough was enough and wanted to leave. The storyline received some of its biggest ratings ever when Tiffany came tumbling down the stairs, did she fall or was she pushed?

When Grant was later released on bail, he decided to pop in and see his daughter Courtney, giving his ex a bit of a surprise.

Grant refused to hand over his daughter and made for the exit. When Tiffany chased after him, the tragic end came for the soap favourite when she is struck down by Frank Butcher.
