Jay gets caught in the middle of the feud between Phil Mitchell and Max Branning. Jay has always been very loyal to Phil and the rest of the Mitchells but now Jay also has to remain loyal to Max as he is his boss.
Max will become all love up next week when seductress Karin Smart arrives in the square but Jay soon realises not all is what it seems.
Jay finds out that one of the cars max has sold is on the dodgy side and reveals his findings to Phil who says he is actually involved and to keep his mouth shut.
Jay is shocked when Max apologises to Phil for his recent behaviour but Jay comes clean to Max about spilling the beans to Phil.
After Max speaks to Phil, Phil soon realises that Jay has betrayed him and told Max everything. What Max doesn't know is that Phil and Karin have hatched a plan.
EastEnders airs these scenes on Tuesday April 14, Thursday April 16 and Friday April 17 on BBC One.
