Masood will ignore Shabnam next week and go in search for his granddaughter. Masood found out recently that Shabnam had a baby following a one night stand with Dean Wicks.
Shabnam has already made it clear that she does not want her daughter in her life but Masood finds it impossible to comprehend. He later finds out from the Carters that she told them the baby had died.
Tamwar tries his best to set his fathers mind on something else, telling him to get his paperwork in order for their new Masala Masood food stall.
However, as Masood prepares for the first day of Masala Masood, his grandchild continues to play on his mind and he later prints off the address to find her.
As his big opening day arrives, a distracted Masood is more focused on seeing his granddaughter and later comes clean to Jane Beale (Laurie Brett) about what is going on.
With Roxy Mitchell looking after his stall, Masood and Jane head to the address but as they arrive, Jane tries to convince Masood to talk to Shabnam first.
Just as they are about to leave, Masood thinks he spots the girl, Jade, and he takes a picture of her despite Jane's pleas.
The pair soon drive off before Masood has a chance to say anything but once back in Walford, he comes clean and shows Shabnam the photo of the girl.

Shabnam resists Masood's demands
A furious Shabnam soon comes to blows with Masood, who later takes further drastic action by giving Jade's address to Shirley and telling her that she is alive.
Shirley then comes clean to Buster Briggs about the address and despite his advice, she heads to Blades where she prepares to tell Dean that his daughter is alive. Will she go through with it?
