Ben and Kathy Team Up - PICTURES!

After revealing to her son that her husband Gavin is dangerous, the pair team up to talk about getting rid of him once and for all. This is the first time Ben has seen his mother in ten years.

While Ben acts angry towards his mother, she explains that other things are more important as she believes that Gavin has taken Phil hostage.

After Kathy receives a phone call, she heads over to the Mitchell house and pleads for Ben to talk to her. Ben demands that she leaves but later the pair share a heart warming hug. Kathy chats with Ben about everything that has happened in the last 10 years but lets slip that she is still with the man that forced her to abandon him.

She explains that Gavin has Phil and if they don't find money fast, she fears Gavin will do something drastic.

Determined to get Phil back, Ben gives Kathy some money and she goes to meet Gavin at the park. However, things soon go awry when Ben turns up and, before Kathy has a chance to send him on his way, Gavin arrives and embraces Ben.


Gavin soon reveals his true colours when he demands more money and that he and Kathy will be leaving Walford. When Kathy tells Ben it's for the best and his own safety that she leaves, Ben asks to go with her.

Kathy and Ben then come up with a plan to get more money, but is she really prepared to leave Walford behind once again?

EastEnders airs these scenes next week on BBC One.
