Ronnie has had a problem with Dean since the local rapist started dating her sister Roxy. It was revealed a few weeks ago that Ronnie and Mick would have a hand in helping Shabnam get custody of her daughter. We think this is where the who thing starts.
We know that Mick will have a hand in something but it seems that Ronnie will be the one setting the wheels in motion. Soap boss Dominic Treadwell-Collins explained that Ronnie will become increasingly frustrated when she feels that she is losing her sister Roxy to the Blades hairdresser.
More of Deans dark side will show over the coming weeks/months with his relationship with Roxy becoming more abusive.
Dominic said: "Ronnie sees her sister with this man she knows is bad. We're going to rip Roxy and Ronnie apart a bit. What I think is exciting is bringing Ronnie into the arena with the Carters.
“Ultimately, neither Ronnie nor Mick wants Dean in Walford, and Ronnie is saying, ‘Come on, we shouldn’t have Dean around anymore’.
"It is hard that Dean's still around, and I know we've had criticism, but these things aren't just tied up. It's the same with the Beales and Bobby - you can't play out the big whodunit and have the next scene be Ian and Jane sat choosing curtains. That's boring.
"In reality, Mick and Linda would have to get on with their life with Dean across the road. We have storylined the climax to that for the end of the year."
New year has been tipped to involve a big water based stunt which will bring the story to an end. Does Ronnie have it in her to try and drown Dean? Will Mick jump in to save his twisted brother?
