With the secret relationship between Ben and Paul exposed by Phil, Ben is worried about how his father will take it. After Phil catches the pair in the car lot, Ben worries when Phil is nowhere to be found.
Ben takes action over his relationship with Paul. Before heading off to the Vic, Jay and Ben discuss each others relationships and Ben reveals that Phil caught them in the act. Jay tells Ben that he needs to finally come clean to Abi as it's not fair on her.
Later, Ben runs into Paul and the pair go to the toilets where they both discuss the heartache of losing a parent. He later agrees to meet Paul for a drink but when Paul sees Abi and Ben together, he feels Ben has made his decision.
EastEnders airs these scenes next week on BBC One.
