After an incident on the Square that involved Kim and Pearl, she and Sharon decide to step in and take matters into their own hands.

Both men realise they have been set up and decide to end the war against each others families. Of course, that does not mean Phil actually means it. He takes some drastic action to destroy the Hubbard's once and for all.

Later, after an argument with his dad, Ben decides to head over to Ian's for Christmas dinner taking Abi with him. Phil heads over to the Minute Mart to buy a bottle of Whiskey where he meets Shirley who has a few things to say.

Sharon becomes more frustrated with Phil too and heads off to Ian's for dinner alone.
