Later this month, we will see a huge turn in the story for Stacey Branning. The character is currently suffering with postpartum psychosis, she has been sectioned and is only just starting to have contact with her son. Worryingly she refused to believe that Arthur was her son in Monday night's episode. The story will intensify during BBC One's Mental Health Week.
In the week beginning Monday 15th February, Stacey will make a huge decision that will have a massive impact on her partner Martin Fowler.
EastEnders have been working closely with Mind, the mental health charity and Bipolar UK. We have been fundraising all last week and we have reached well above our target. Postpartum psychosis is an illness that can affect women after giving birth.
Lacey Turner who plays Stacey has been praised by fans on social media. Some claiming her portrayal is Oscar worthy!
