It's going to be nightmare for Kathy soon when Gavin arrives back on the scene. He has been hiding in the shadows and only popping his head up now and again to see daughter Sharon.
Kathy is left shaken when Gavin waits for her inside Ian's house. She threatens him with the police, she also tells him that they are finished and not have any ideas about them as a couple.
Thankfully Gavin is not there to get back with her, he explains that he has been on holiday with Sharon but he needs a favour. Apparently the big family holiday did not turn out how he imagined and Sharon is no longer talking to him. He asks Kathy to get a message to her.
As the pair are talking, Dot arrives. She soon realises who Gavin is and stands by Kathy's side, telling her not to listen to a word he says. You tell 'em Dot!
Kathy is shocked when Gavin breaks down and cries, Dot is not fooled by it but Kathy agrees to help him. The message to Sharon? It simply reads that he is sorry for what happened on the holiday but he genuinely wants to be a good father and grandfather.
EastEnders airs these scenes on Monday, February 15 at 8pm and Tuesday, February 16 at 7.30pm on BBC One.
