Alison Slater will turn up in Walford next month, the character is played by Loose Women star Denise Welch.
Alison is the mother of Kyle, she has not accepted her sons transition and she hasn't even seen him since his life change.
Kyle admits to Stacey that he loves living in Walford, but he's missing his mum. Stacey takes it upon herself to contact Alison and invite her over.
When Kyle is nowhere to be found, things get a little awkward for Stacey. She is stood in the same room as the woman who her father lived a double life with.
Stacey is relieved when Kyle eventually turns up. He has brought his mum some flowers, but how will she react when she sees him for the first time.
EastEnders airs these scenes on Tuesday, May 3 at 7.30pm on BBC One.
