Peggy arrives at Ronnie's looking for support, when Sal and Phil arrive looking for her, Ronnie says she hasn't seen her.
The next day is Peggy's all important doctors appointment where she is shocked to hear that the cancer has spread.
Later, Peggy decides it's time to let Phil know how her appointment went, she reveals the horrifying truth to her son that she only has a short while left.
Phil is left shocked and it makes him think about his own mortality. He tries his best to comfort Peggy and she urges him to keep on the straight and narrow, when it comes to his drinking.
