As if this poor family hasn't been through enough, Les Coker will suffer a heart attack. The attack seems to have been brought on by Babe's constant demands for money.
To make matters worse, Les will suffer his attack whilst dressed as Christine. Knowing the couple cannot afford her demands, Babe decides to hike up the pressure anyway, demanding more money.
Les has turned back to cross-dressing, the way he feels for him to deal with his problems.
Pam has had enough, she stops the celebrations at the Vic, she tells Babe she cannot afford the money she is demanding. Babe tells her that she is going to reveal Les' secret to the entire pub.
In sickening fashion, Babe implies that she has had the photo of Christine framed and she wants to present it in front of everyone.
She rushes home but a horrified Pam walks in on Les dressed as Christine. Pam feels her world is crumbling around her, it's not long after that Les will suffer a heart attack.
Pam stays by his side and he is rushed to hospital. Even during his attack, Les is worried that people will see him get into the ambulance.
