After Pam and Les face their grandson's killers in court, Pam issues an ultimatum to her husband. The couple attend the hearing to find out if Paul's killers will even face a charge.
Pam initially decides she can't go, Les soon persuades her, explaining that they must face them. After the couple's heart to heart last week, it seems the problems in their marriage are too big to ignore.
Pam tells Les that he needs Christine to deal with his grief. Les becomes frustrated, explaining he gave Christine up for her in the first place. It seems everything is taking it's toll on Les when he suffers a health scare.
He later has a heart-to-heart with Linda Carter, it seems the chat about Paul's death puts a few things into perspective.
EastEnders airs these scenes on Monday, September 19 and Tuesday, September 20 on ITV.
