Samantha Womack who plays Ronnie Mitchell, has landed herself a new role. She and Rita Simons have now left the soap but their characters will remain on screen until New Year.
In just weeks since leaving, Sam and Rita have both landed themselves new roles.

Sam will star in a new musical comedy, The Addams Family. She will play the part of Morticia Addams while Corrie star Les Dennis will take on the role of uncle Fester.
The UK and Ireland tour of The Addams Family will begin at the Festival Theatre in Edinburgh on 20 April 2017.
