It was promised to be a big year for the Beale's and it's certainly going to be that. Jane will receive bad news from her doctor next week.
She has made a massive improvement after she was left in a wheelchair, a result of being attacked by her son Bobby.

Local residents wish her well as she heads off with Ian for her usual check-up. Both feeling positive, the pair soon come crashing back to reality when the doctor reveals some bad news for Jane. EastEnders are of course keeping tight lipped about the news.
It has also been revealed that Dot will encourage Ian to get himself check out, especially after his recent increase in tiredness and frequent visits to the toilet.
Fans speculated that Ian could be diagnosed with prostate cancer after his symptoms started following a pattern.
