Legend of stage and screen Whoopi Goldberg, today revealed that she is a huge fan of EastEnders. Appearing on Loose Women, she said she used to watch the soap when it aired on BBC America before it was cancelled.
She expressed that she loved the "two brothers, the bald ones". She went on to say that she wanted to know what happened to "the younger sister" and screaming "what happened to Dot?!"
Martine McCutcheon, who was also on the panel seemed pretty excited when Whoopi remembered that she was in the soap.
Whoopi is best known for her roles in Ghost and Sister Act, as well as an extremely successful career in stand-up.
She now hosts The View, the American version of Loose Women.
When EastEnders was axed in America in 2003, a petition of 9,000 fans convinced bosses to bring the soap back, but on pay-per-view only. The soap is aired around the world in Europe, Africa, Australia and New Zealand, they are currently 2 weeks behind.
