With Max Branning scheming secretly in the background, it was revealed today that he is involved in the return of Charlie Cotton.
Charlie left Walford in 2015, chased out of Walford by Vincent Hubbard, at the order of Ronnie Mitchell.
With both the Mitchell sisters now dead, there is nothing stopping Dot's grandson from returning to Walford, especially to see his son Matthew. Although it has not yet been confirmed, Declan Bennett who plays Charlie Cotton, has been spotted filming on location with Jake Wood AKA Max Branning.
