Did You Spot The Familiar Faces In New EastEnders Family?

Last night we revealed the new family arriving in Walford, this summer. Some of you had already noticed, but there were a couple of familiar faces within the Taylor family.

Lorraine Stanley who plays Karen was in the soap before, and pretty recently. Lorraine appeared in EastEnders last year playing Thelma Bragg, a landlady of a pub outside Walford, known to the Carters.

Thelma was also the mother of Star, the teenager who had a relationship with Jay Mitchell, landing him on the sex offenders register.

It's not the first time this has happened in a soap, in fact it's pretty common. Here is what we think happened, Lorraine became a huge hit with viewers last year, although the character may have been limited, EastEnders bosses decided to bring the actress back as a new character, spicing her up even more, if that's possible!

If you remember Claudette Hubbard, actress Ellen Thomas, was in the soap just a few years earlier, playing Grace Olubunmi, grandmother of Mercy and Faith.

Keanu Taylor may have also been spotted in the new line up, actor Danny Walters is best known for playing Tiger in ITV's Benidorm.

Whatever your thoughts, we have been promised by bosses that the new family will bring a lot of drama, but they'll also be lovable. It's like a modern twist on the Miller family . . . . remember them?

The Taylors are due to make their debut this summer.
