Fans Not Happy With EastEnders Redwater Schedule

Many of you were left fuming yesterday when it was revealed that Kat & Alfie: Redwater is to be aired on Thursday, May 18th on BBC One. But why?

Irish television RTE One will be airing the first episode on Sunday, May 14th. That's FOUR DAYS before British viewers will get to see it on BBC One.

Many of you left comments, venting on our Facebook page, some mentioned their concern on twitter:

How come @rteone are showing #Redwater 4 days before @BBCOne? Will spoil it for UK fans. Luke's identity & other twists will leak @dominictc

With an impressive cast and created by Dominic Treadwell-Collins, we have been promised drama with a load of shock twists within the mini series, it has also been revealed that Alfie will be trying to hide his failing health from Kat, will it last?

We also learned this week that EastEnders will slot in a special scene mentioning Kat and Alfie, in Thursday 18th May episode.
