Despite recently saying that she had no intentions in returning to EastEnders, Charlie Brooks who played Janine Butcher, who's character was last seen leaving the UK in 2014, teases a possible return to Walford.
Speaking to The Daily Star, she initially said there haven't been any plans made, saying: "It's not in my immediate plans."
Since then, Charlie has come out and spoken about John Yorke taking control of the soap again, speaking to Soaplife she said: "It's brilliant and it's good for the show. John's a genius at what he does.
"I was there during his earlier 'reign' and Janine was his baby, really. He so invested in her storylines."

Janine was last seen waiting to board the eurostar, befriending a couple who revealed they had just won the lottery.
She continued: “I
do wonder about what the writers and storyliners could do with her.
She’s done so much, so where would she go next? What might pull her back
to the Square?
“She’s supposedly living in France with her sister Diane at the moment.”
