EastEnders Confirm Shooting During Disaster Week!

Just when you think disaster week couldn't get more dramatic, EastEnders confirm FOURTH event as Ted Murray shoots innocent resident

Ted clutches his gun

As the gas explosion rips through the square, a possible deadly fire at Beale's restaurant and an ambulance crash, the soap has confirmed a fourth event as Ted Murray shoots someone.

The elderly couple arrived in Walford earlier this year and it was revealed straight away that Ted owned a firearm.

Ted's anxiety seems to take over during the explosion, bringing back painful memories. He grabs his gun in a bid to protect himself from what's happening outside, but as an innocent resident knocks on their door to make sure they're ok, Ted pulls the trigger.
