Next week will see more Steven Beale drama as his funeral gets underway. Just as Lauren prepares herself for the emotional day, the huge secret about Steven's fake illness comes out.
Lauren continues to drink during the day, wracked with guilt for not loving the man she was going to marry.
Whitney takes Lauren to the pub and pleads with her to stop drinking and to think of Louie. As she continues to struggle, Abi steps in to twist the knife. She blasts Lauren for not even knowing Steven at all.

With Max not returning her calls and Abi keeping out of her way, Lauren leans on former boss Josh, for support.
As the day of the funeral arrives, Lauren is left shocked when the family liaison officer turns up and reveals that Steven didn't have a tumor.
With that and more secrets coming out, Abi starts to panic that her little secret is next to be exposed. EastEnders airs this episode on Friday 22nd September on BBC One.
It looks as though Kush has recovered from his heart attack in time for the funeral.
