2007 was a huge year for EastEnders, the Mitchell's were front and center of the community with Peggy running the Vic. Sean and Roxy were an item, Stacey and Max were having an affair and Denise married Kevin Wicks.
This was also the year with evil Stella, the fiance of Phil Mitchell. In December 2007, the truth about Stella's abuse of Ben Mitchell was revealed, which later lead to her death.
The Queen Vic was in financial trouble this year, with Ronnie and Roxy trying to persuade Peggy to let them help, she decided to try and scam the insurance company, faking a robbery and receiving a battering herself.
