It has been revealed tonight that a long serving cast member has said her goodbyes. Laurie Brett returned to EastEnders three years ago and her character Jane, has taken pretty much everything a soap can possibly throw at a character.
It is now understood that tonight (Monday 23rd October) was her final episode. Speaking to DigitalSpy, Laurie said: "I've loved every minute of playing Jane Beale. To return to EastEnders with such a huge storyline was an absolute gift.
"It's been hard keeping the secret, but the storyline has been great to play out and I have loved every minute of it."
