Shortly after Janet Mitchell is run down by Tina Carter, things are made a whole lot worse when Billy cheats on Honey, with the person responsible.
With their marriage buckling under the pressure, Honey kicks her husband out of their home. Billy turns to Tina, who had previously decided not to tell anyone about the hit and run.
Tina invites Billy back to the Vic so he's not alone, but Billy stupidly leans in for a kiss. After spending the night with him, Tina's guilt gets the better of her and she tells Billy that she is the driver who knocked down his daughter.

Tina reveals to Shirley that she has told Billy the truth and that she's going to hand herself in to the police.
Billy supports Tina's decision to go to the police but they are stopped by Shirley, who gives the pair an ultimatum.
