EastEnders Confirms Exit For Male Character

The actor has finished filming and his departure will hit our screens in the New Year

EastEnders have confirmed today that Ted Reilly has left EastEnders, this will see Johnny Carter leave Walford early next year.

Ted took over the role from previous actor Sam Strike in 2016. - Ted is moving on to Sonya Hale's McBride.


Speaking to Metro.co.uk an EastEnders spokesperson confirmed: ‘We can confirm Ted has finished filming with EastEnders and wish him all the best for the future.

EastEnders airs weeknights on BBC One.
