Friday night ended with the entire pub in shock that Max Branning has been playing them, including poor Carmel who stormed out.

Max continues to dig the knife deeper when he proposes to Fi. New pictures released show Monday's episode picks up from where we left off.

The Carters are in shock as the news that they have just weeks to evacuate the pub sinks in, and many of the properties on the Square will be demolished and turned into luxury flats.

The family of Willmott-Brown raise a toast to Max, revealing the true extent of his involvement in the scheming. Max feels this is the perfect time to propose to Fi.
