Although it has been widely reported that Masood and Kathy get together, it looks like his family has other ideas when they set up a date for him, with newcomer Noor.
When Ian gets his hands on the newly refurbished 'Beale's Plaice' Chippy, Masood is given a job. Ian might live to regret his decision when Masood decides to put his own mark on the place and change the recipe.
Customers are quick to complain about the taste, leaving Kathy to reprimand him. After his telling off, Robbie Jackson suggests that he sticks to Ian's recipe, instead start selling his homemade samosas on the side.

When Mariam and Arshad find him searching the house for a samosa recipe, they assume he has got himself a date.
Instead of correcting them, Masood lies and asks them to make him a batch for his new girlfriend - so he can sell them at the chippy.

When his lies catch up with him, Mariam is furious with her nephew, leaving him with a lot of grovelling to do.
Mariam refuses to accept his apology and he has no choice but to agree to a date that his aunt has set up for him.
Masood tries his best to impress Noor in front of his family. Will it go to plan or . . . . come on, it's Masood! - Also, bring on the Kathy/Masood relationship, I can't wait to see the look on Ian's face.
