Kim is left devastated next week when Vincent reveals to his wife that they are broke. Tense scenes over the New Year period see Vincent agree to sell The Albert, handing over the proceeds to Aidan Maguire.
When Aidan becomes inpatient about his money, Vincent has no choice but to ask the estate agent to go with a quick sale, meaning they have to accept a far lower offer.
Vincent is close to telling Kim the truth when he realises that she has hired Karen Taylor as their personal cleaner.

Before the sale of The Albert is complete, Aidan hikes up the pressure by demanding a downpayment from Vincent.
Almost penniless, Vincent is concerned when he returns home to see that Kim has been spending frivolously again.
Vincent has had enough and snaps at his wife, telling her that they are broke and that she can no longer continue to live the luxury lifestyle she has become accustomed to.
Kim tells Vincent that everything will be fine because she's applying for a loan.

Kim is still concerned about what mess Vincent has got himself into. She decides to cook a romantic meal in the hope he will tell her everything.
Her plan pays off when he finally opens up, telling her that he's got involved with the wrong people.
Vincent's shocked when Kim suggests selling her engagement ring, but he is adamant that he will find another way.
Following another row, which sees Kim tell Vincent to stop making mistakes, she comes up with an idea that could get them out of the financial situation they are in. Will Vincent go along with it?
