Vincent's Exit From EastEnders

"Where they started to take my character, It was like, no"

EastEnders, BBC One

Speaking to So Solid Crew's Michael Harvey, Richard Blackwood recently opened up about Vincent's exit from EastEnders, he said "there was no bad vibe between me and EastEnders" - He then went on to say how he was hurt by the decision to renew his contract: "I've done all this and you ain't going to renew it".

When he was pressed on the exit storyline, Richard said: "This is no disrespect to [EastEnders], but the storyline, where it started to go, I wasn't feeling,"

"Where they started to take my character, and people will see where my character goes towards the end, I wasn't feeling. "It was like, 'No, it's time'."

There are a few ways in which Vincent Hubbard could leave our screens, including the one that most viewers are hoping for, some sort of justice for Fatboy.

1. Vincent Leaves Walford Alone

EastEnders, BBC One
Thanks to Aidan Maguire, we have seen the character become a broken man. He is close to losing his home, he lost his business and his marriage has become a battleground.

Will Vincent go back to an earlier idea to simply leave his family a note and jump on the next train out of London?

2. Aidan's Revenge

EastEnders, BBC One

It's not too far-fetched to think that Aidan could give one final blow to his storyline, returning to ruin Vincent's life once and for all, or even sending one of his goons.

Aidan currently owns The Albert wine bar but he never really wanted it, he simply wanted to cause as much anguish as possible for Vincent and his family.

3. Tragic Accident

EastEnders, BBC One

Would Vincent really abandon his family that easily this time around? Richard was presented with a storyline that would have no other outcome but to see the character leave. Have EastEnders lined up a tragic end for Vincent Hubbard?

4. Justice For Fatboy

EastEnders, BBC One

As with many shows, there is a team of people at EastEnders whose job it is to search different social media platforms to gather fans opinions of the show. When you write online of your frustration about any storyline, don't think your comment has gone unnoticed.

EastEnders know how frustrated viewers were over the apparent death of Arthur Chubb, and with that particular storyline still wide open, could Fatboy's body finally be found, and linked back to Vincent?

EastEnders, BBC One

Of course we all live in hope that Fatboy will just stroll up Bridge Street alive and well, but lets hope we get justice for this character soon either way.

EastEnders airs weeknights on BBC One.
