EastEnders has released more pictures showing the heartbreaking moment Shakil's family say their goodbyes.
As mourners gather for the teenagers funeral, Kush and Denise become concerned when Carmel fails to show up.
Earlier that day, Kush had told Carmel that she must allow Shakil's friends to attend the funeral, so she backs down but explains that she won't be attending.
As the service is about to start, Denise heads off to find her friend, before she misses the one chance she has to say her final goodbye.

EastEnders won't be airing a traditional episode, revealing last month that real-life victims of knife crime will also feature within the episode.
