Billy Mitchell has spent the last week getting his hopes up about repairing his marriage, but after a disaster of a meal, Honey is left running into the arms of her new man, dentist Adam Bateman.
After discovering that his estranged wife went on a date, Billy is left devastated that Honey is moving on.
Later, when the pair bump into Adam in the square, Billy soon notices the chemistry between the dentist and his wife.
Honey feels guilty about lying to him decides to come clean, even asking him to watch the children so she can go on another date.

Being petty, Billy lets the children binge on sweets which later results in Will being sick. It doesn't take Honey long to realise that Billy was responsible.
As tensions rise between the exes, Billy tries to make amends but is upset when he learns that the children have already met Adam.
After Kim convinces Honey to go on another date with Adam, she is torn over the decision when Billy begs her not to go, but when he realises that Will and Janet have witnessed him begging, he decides that he needs to let Honey move on.
