Fans of EastEnders will soon be able to watch the soap from the very beginning, thanks to the Drama channel, part of the UKTV network. The digital channel has revealed that the episodes will start airing on Monday 6th August.
Starting with the very first episode which aired on 19th February, 1985, EastEnders will be shown weekdays at 12pm on Drama, starting this coming Monday. Soon afterwards they will be available on the UKTV Play streaming service.

This also means that you will see all the classic moments such as Pat and Frank's wedding, Grant, Phil and Peggy's first appearances on the square and the heartwarming moment when Jim proposed to Dot on the London Eye.
As of today, there are 5,749 episodes of EastEnders in the archive and they will soon be available for you to watch again!
EastEnders airs weeknights on BBC One.
