Friday's episode see Carmel receive an emotional apology from Bruno, the boy who killed her son, Shakil, back in May, but Sophie was shocked when she realised that her son wasn't remorseful about the killing, but plans to use Carmel to his advantage.
Next week, Carmel will continue to support Sophie, approaching the council to help her get somewhere new to live.
Things will take a twist when Carmel agrees to write a letter to Bruno's lawyer to help get his sentence reduced.
