After abandoning her baby on the Ahmeds' doorstep, Hayley heads off to spend some time with her mum, Bev, who assures her that she has made the right decision.
Back in Walford, Mariam tells Arshad that she wants to give Hayley time to do the right thing before calling social services.
When Hayley later returns to the square, she considers visiting her daughter, but when Kat confronts her over the whereabouts of her child, Hayley leaves and returns to her mum's flat.
Meanwhile, with the custody hearing of baby Abi just around the corner, Max and Rainie are shocked to see Cora arrive at Ian's house.

The pair storm in and demand to know what's going on, and what's worse is that Max finds out that his solicitor has been fired.
Also, Mel catches Ray out over his lie about not having enough money for her engagement ring, and Linda chats to Stuart when he visits the Vic, but is she up to something?
