After a hectic Christmas, Karen Taylor is determined to see in 2019 with a bang, and that includes getting a kiss off of a certain Mr Mitchell.
Teasing the upcoming scenes, Lorraine Stanley who plays Karen said: "In true Karen Taylor style, she’s at The Vic at New Year, tucking into the food and drink, she’s the life and soul. She also plants a kiss on someone, so she sees in the New Year the way only Karen can.

Next week, viewers will also see the moment Karen loses her temper with Tiffany Butcher: "We really see Karen’s true colours and the love she has for her children. I really love that moment." she said.
As Karen grows increasingly concerned for Bernadette in the new year, Keegan reveals to his mum that Bernie's behaviour is down to Tiffany's lack of loyalty.
After listening in on a private conversation between the pair, Karen busts in and gives Tiff a telling off, but she is left kicking herself when she realises she has made the situation worse.
