As everything continues to tick over nicely for Max, his wife and baby Abi, Rainie's health takes a turn for the worse.
With the pair planning Abi's first birthday, Max upsets Rainie by leaving his granddaughter in Jack's care when he is called off to work.
As she starts to feel excluded from the family once again, Rainie decides to take charge and heads off to collect the birthday cake, but drops it after a dizzy spell.
Determined to solider on, Rainie continues to push herself, only to collapse later on as Abi's birthday celebrations gets underway.

Seeing that Rainie is still unsteady on her feet, Max shows his unsympathetic side and even shares some harsh words with his wife.
Jack urges Max to give Rainie the benefit of the doubt, showing him the present she has been working on, an album full of pictures of her mum.
Max finally backs down and shows his appreciation for the gift, and even lets her attend to Abi later when she cries.
To show Rainie that he cares, Max books her an appointment with the doctor, but could this collapse be the start of something more serious?
