Character to leave when story comes to a "natural conclusion"


EastEnders has revealed that Charlie Winter who plays Hunter Owen will be leaving the soap after just one year.

Charlie's exit will come as the current storyline heats up, coming to a natural conclusion.


A BBC spokesperson told DigitalSpy: “We can confirm Charlie Winter is leaving and wish him all the best for the future."

The actor is said to appear on our screens for some time to come, but bosses are keeping tight lipped about details surrounding the characters departure.

EastEnders airs weeknights on BBC One.
