After her rejection from Jay last week, Ruby turns to Stacey who urges her not to give up on him. Unfortunately, she overhears Phil telling Jay to keep his distance from her.

Later, after making a surprising admission to Stacey, Ruby heads off to ask Phil for a favour, offering a wad of cash in return.

When Phil refuses, Ruby wastes no time in reminding him of their past and tells him that he owes her. Is that enough to change his mind?

Also, after an argument with Louise, Bex is surprised when Dot's lodger Stuart offers her some advice. When Kush spots the pair talking, he gets the wrong idea and rushes off to tell Martin.

Meanwhile, Mitch becomes desperate for some cash to buy Bailey some football boots so he steals one of Patrick's records.

Also tonight, Linda returns to Walford after her Australian trip to see Nancy and Tamwar get married, but the family are shocked that Mick has decided to stay.

Linda tells the  family that the Vic is now a all-female work force, but something is bothering Shirley.
