Realising that Stuart is always one step ahead, Rainie Branning decides to play him at his own game when she tries to befriend him next week.
As she gains Stuart's trust, she spots a new opportunity after finding out that her husband Max has met another woman.
Later, Jack is concerned that Rainie is drinking again, so he orders her to attend the next NA meeting or move out. Rainie agrees in order to keep Jack on side.
At the meeting, with Stuart in attendance, Rainie opens up to the group about her recent troubles. Her plan seems to be working when Stuart reaches out to her and the pair have a heart-to-heart.
