Meet EastEnders' Newest Family: The Atkins'

Karen Taylor's eldest daughter will be moving to Walford later this month and she's not alone. Reuniting with her mum and dad, Chantelle Baker will arrive with her husband Gray, as well as their two daughters Mia and Mackenzie.

Chantelle's husband Gray is a hard working solicitor who works in the city, and his success is said to have caused Chantelle to move away from her family.

When the family arrive to reunite with Karen, tension erupts when Chantelle realises that her father Mitch is back on the scene.

Speaking to Digital Spy about joining EastEnders, Toby-Alexander who plays Gray said: “I’m delighted to be joining the cast of EastEnders as I’ve always been a fan. I’m looking forward to seeing what Albert Square has in store for Gray.”

Senior Executive Producer Kate Oates said about the newest additions: "To the rest of the Taylor family, she is definitely the one who’s ‘done good’: leaving home early, and landing on her feet marrying the handsome and successful Gray," the producer said. "But will Chantelle’s picture-perfect lifestyle put her and Gray into conflict with the rest of her family?”

Chantelle will arrive in Walford later this month.
