EastEnders actor Jake Wood took some time out from the soap when he toured with his boxing podcast, and the date of Max's return to Walford has now been revealed.
Max has been absent from our screens since February, but early schedule descriptions show Max's return in May will spell trouble for him and Rainie.
Monday 6th May
Ben faces the consequences of recent events, the Atkins family make their move to Albert Square, and Lola hatches a plan to help Billy win Honey back.
Tuesday 7th May
Rainie stirs up trouble for Stuart, Jay is stunned by Ben's revelation, and Iqra and Habiba are caught off guard.
Thursday 9th May
Keanu receives some tough love from Karen, Jay receives a tempting business proposition, and Max tries to put things right with Rainie.
Friday 10th May
All hell breaks loose for Max and Rainie, and Dinah worries about Bailey.
