Unless you've been living under a rock, you'll be aware that Sean Slater is returning to EastEnders very soon, and producer Jon Sen believes viewers will be "transfixed" by his scenes.
Robert Kazinsky overcame the odds when he left the soap in 2009 and became a hit in Hollywood, but the actor always promised to return if he had the time, and the storyline was right.
When asked why bosses wanted to bring back the Slater bad-boy, Jon Sen said: "We wanted to show just how close that bond is between mother and son,"
"And we're telling the story that, yes, Jean's cancer has been terrible for her but, in a way, has been one of the best things that's ever happened to her because it's shown her her inner-courage and it's brought back her son.
"When you see the bond between Sean and Jean, but also the real chemistry, the on-screen chemistry between Gillian [Wright] and Rob, you can't take your eyes away from it. It's transfixing."

It was recently revealed that Gillian Wright who plays Jean was the one who suggested that Robert should return to EastEnders: "Kate asked me various questions such as 'What would be on Jean’s wish list?' and that’s when I said Jean would want to find Sean," she recalled. "So it was a discussion really, it was great."
Although Sean will only be on our screens for a short period of time, there's certainly a lot packed in. With a graveside brawl and a kidnapping, plus the heartwarming reunion between mother and son, it's going to be emotional!
