After spending the last year and a half as Max Branning's skivvy, Rainie spotted an opportunity last week to leave, with the added bonus of Jack Branning's money.
Max knows that if he calls the police about the kidnapping, there's a real possibility that Abi could be taken into care, but he might not have to as Rainie makes a fatal error by returning home.
Unable to get Abi to settle, Rainie decides to sneak back to Walford to retrieve the one thing that will settle her, a toy.
Unfortunately for Rainie, Jack expectantly returns home and finds Rainie clutching baby Abi in her arms.
