EastEnders aired scenes earlier this week which showed Karen Taylor reveal to her family that she is seeing another woman.
Next week, as the relationship between Karen and Caren grows from strength to strength, Bernie urges her mum to have a serious think about her future.
Unable to ignore her daughter's advice, Karen is taken aback when Caren suggests they return to the Taylors' house as everyone is out.
There, Karen experiences her first gay kiss, but as she thinks about what she's doing, will she end up leaving Caren heartbroken?
EastEnders air these scenes next week on BBC One.
