Linda Carter proudly takes her son Ollie to his first day of school next week, but she's left devastated by the reception she receives by other mums at the gate.
In the run up to his first day, Chantelle takes a moment to warn Linda that the other mums are a very cliquey bunch who aren't very welcoming.
When she arrives at the school, Linda puts Chantelle's advice to one side and tries to befriend them, but she soon realises Chantelle was right.
EastEnders recently revealed that Linda will battle with alcoholism in an upcoming storyline, when she uses drink to cope with rising pressures in her life.

Executive producer Jon Sen revealed: "This autumn, the Carters will face one of their biggest crises to date when Linda turns to alcohol to escape the increasing pressures of her family life."
"Linda's descent into alcoholism will be instantly recognisable to many – a journey that begins with a single drink to cope with the everyday ups and downs but quickly escalates to a point which wreaks devastation on their life and the lives of those around them.
"In telling Linda's story we hope that anyone in Linda's situation or those around them notice the signs of alcoholism and seek the help needed."
EastEnders airs weeknights on BBC One.
