EastEnders' story editor Ben Wadey has revealed the soap will be introducing a bisexual character at some point in the next few weeks.
Speaking on twitter, Ben revealed: ‘Been great to see all the positive reaction to LGBTQ+ representation on EastEnders recently, and excited for us to have a new B in the show soon,’
EastEnders opened Walford's first gay bar earlier this year, and the borough also had its first pride festival.
Soap boss Kate Oates, who was also responsible for Robert and Aaron's relationship in Emmerdale, explained that she wanted to show a true representation of the LGBTQ+ community in London.

Kate has made a number of big moves with the soap in recent months, expanding the Ahmed family, and also including the soaps first lesbian Muslim character.
A new Sikh family are also on their way to Walford. Brothers Kheerat, Jags and Vinny will bring a lot of drama to the little corner of East London when they clash with another Albert Square family.
Jaz Deol, who plays Kheerat, told The Metro: "I’m very proud and excited to be joining such an iconic show and bringing to life a character that is a reflection of the cultural background that I and many others come from in today’s modern Britain. I can’t wait to get started and for viewers to meet the Panesars."
