EastEnders has confirmed that Martin Fowler will be involved in a horrifying incident over Christmas when one of his jobs with Tubbs goes horribly wrong.
With Ben Mitchell off the scene, Martin strikes up a business relationship with Tubbs, and it's not long before the pair team up to make some extra cash.

As Martin heads off to meet Tubbs for their latest job, Sonia is shocked when he barges past her and also ignores his daughter, Bex, who starts to blame herself for his behaviour.
As Martin and Tubbs complete their job, the pair are horrified when a serious incident unfolds. On Christmas Eve Martin becomes haunted by what happened the previous day. When he later meets up with Tubbs to discuss the events, he's urged to get rid of his van and keep his mouth shut.

Desperate for help, Martin turns to Ben Mitchell who refuses to get involved, so he's forced to return home and confess everything to Sonia.
Sonia is left gobsmacked when Martin tells her what happened, but she's in for another shock when he attempts to flee Walford on Christmas Day.
Although Martin decides to stick around, it soon becomes clear that this is the top of the iceberg for him. Watch your back Mr Fowler!
